Honorary Education Consultants (HECs) in Ukraine
EXPECTATIONS
- Provide accurate and up to date information about the Ukrainian education institutions, their programmes and courses to desirous students in Pakistan. It should include:
- Ranking and specialties of the education institutions.
- Program details, duration, financial requirements and examinations etc
- Administrative arrangements and facilitation measures.
- Registration of students who approach for admission and maintain their essential record till they complete their education.
- Facilitate their admission process and assist them in securing a letter of admission.
- Provide admitted students, accurate information about the visa process, travel arrangements, finances required, lodging arrangements and entry into the program to which they have been admitted.
- Facilitate travel of admitted students to Ukraine and register those who arrive in Ukraine with Embassy of Pakistan on a given form. Brief them about the code of conduct expected from them.
- Monitor the progress of students and resolve curricular and administrative difficulties which they face during the stay in Ukraine. Ensure that students sponsored by them do not egange in criminal activity/border crossing from Ukraine.
- Inform Embassy when the students complete their education or leave Ukraine without completing education.
- Honorary Education Consultants will only charge the laid down / agreed service charges from the students. At no stage of their studies HECs will levy extra charges on any pretext. Only in extreme circumstances with prior approval of the Embassy and after mutual agreement that any change would be made.
- Honorary Education Consultants will protect the students from being defrauded / or misled by anti-social elements in Ukraine. Do not indulge in such an activity.
- Non adherence / violation of the above listed expectation will lead to revoking of the HEC status and the HEC certificate.
Terms of Reference for Honorary Education Consultants in Ukraine
The Embassy of Pakistan, Kyiv nominates you as Honorary Education Consultants (HECs) to facilitate admission and pursuit of studies of Pakistani students in educational institutions of Ukraine. This appointment is on voluntary basis, without any remuneration or privilege and will be subject to an honorable conduct on your part.
REGISTRATION
- Register yourself with Embassy of Pakistan in Kyiv by providing necessary details. The registration will be valid for a period of one year. Your details will be placed on the Embassy Website and other Social Media Platforms and you will be provided a registration certificate.
- The certificate will be valid for a period of one year and will entitle you to facilitate students as an HEC while assisting the Embassy in maintaining records and monitoring conduct of Pakistani students in Ukraine.
- Renewal of certificate will be subject to your performance and feedback from students you have facilitated.
