MANDATE:

• The Honorary Welfare Representative (HWR) will act as an extension of the Embassy of Pakistan, Kyiv for wider coverage for the provision of OPF welfare initiatives/facilitation in the field of housing, education, financial assistance, transportation of human remains, Pakistani prisoners in Ukraine and personalized services. It’s a voluntary undertaking without any remuneration or for-profit purpose.
• The HWR will maintain close liaison with the Pakistani community/people of Pakistani origin in Ukraine and will act as a bridge to communicate/highlight the problems being faced by overseas Pakistanis to the Embassy of Pakistan, Kyiv.
• To motivate the local Pakistani community/people of Pakistani origin to send remittances through legal channels.
• To maintain close liaison with local authorities for the benefit of the Pakistani community/people of Pakistani origin in Ukraine.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

• HWR will serve in their capacity for two years. Extension, if any, will be considered based on achievements and overall performance.
• No representative will collect funds or use his position for his/her own business or interest.
  HWR will abide by the terms and conditions set for such representatives.
• HWR may be removed if they fail to fulfil the responsibilities outlined within these terms of reference/are dormant or inactive or are involved in undesirable activities.
• HWR will not conceal any information about any offence committed or had criminal record etc. concealment of facts will lead to disqualification of membership.
• Efforts will be made to ensure balanced geographical and gender representation having different backgrounds, experiences and professional expertise.
